Amber joined the bank's Heppner location in 2016 and currently services the Morrow, Gilliam and Wheeler county locations, as well as surrounding areas. Prior to banking, Amber spent many years working in the agricultural field. She was employed by the USDA Farm Service Agency and the USDA Forest Service. She also spent a great deal of time successfully writing grants through the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board. Amber conducted natural resource restoration projects for local farmers and ranchers in the Lower John Day River Basin. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in natural resources. She is a native of Eastern Washington and grew up in the rolling hills of Dayton. In her spare time, Amber enjoys raising and training performance horses and is teaching her two little girls how to follow in her footsteps.
