NEW BOARDMAN, OREGON, BRANCH OPENS!
(Boardman,
OR) Located at 100 City Center Drive, the
new facility replaced the Bank’s existing smaller branch
on NW Front Street and provide room for growth in the expanding
North Morrow County marketplace. Said President & CEO,
E. George Koffler, “Bank of Eastern Oregon has had a very
successful ten years in the Boardman market and our new
building positions us for the expanding commercial and consumer
business being generated from new housing and development in
the Port of Morrow. The Bank is investing in the future of
the City of Boardman and we are proud to occupy an anchor
location in the City Center complex.”
The beautiful new building was designed by Sargent Architects
and the construction contract was awarded to Mike Becker
General Contractor, Inc., of LaGrande, Oregon. The
single-story building features two drive-up banking lanes, each
wide and long enough for two vehicles towing horse trailers,
with a drive-up ATM and Night Depository for customer
convenience and safety. A high-ceiling banking floor is
flanked by an expanded lending platform and support
areas. The building design allows for expansion off of the
wings as future needs dictate.
The branch opened for business on Tuesday, January 22,
2008, and had a week-long Grand Opening
Celebration on the week of February 11-15,
2008!
