Q: How do I sign up for Online Banking?
A: Stop by any branch of Bank of Eastern Oregon and the New Accounts Representative will be happy to assist you in filling out the enrollment form.
Q: What is Online Banking?
A: It is a service that provides convenient access to account information and account transactions using the Internet through Netteller. Customers will have the convenience of managing their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: How do I get to Netteller?
A: Go to www.beobank.com and click the Online Banking button on the left side of your screen. This will take you directly to the Netteller login screen. Alternatively, you may hover your cursor over Online Banking Information from the menu on the left and click Login, or type www.beobank.com/ebank directly into your browser.
Q: How can I save Netteller to Favorites?
A: With Internet Explorer, follow the above steps until you get to Netteller Internet Banking Log In. From the top menu, select Favorites > Add to Favorites (or CTRL + D). With Mozilla Firefox, click Bookmarks > Bookmark This Page (or CTRL + D).
Q: What can I do with Netteller?
A: Customers will be able to view account history, check balances, pay bills, transfer between accounts, input stop payments, download account history into Quicken and Money, view statements on-line along with many other features.
Q: Are my accounts safe from hackers?
A: Yes, JHA uses 128-bit encryption and no account numbers are transmitted over the internet.
Q: What do I need to bank online?
A: An account with an Internet Service Provider, a web browser with 128-bit encryption, a User ID, PIN (personal identification number) and an eligible account with Bank of Eastern Oregon.
Q: What do I do if I forget my PIN?
A: Call your local branch of Bank of Eastern Oregon, they in turn will call the main office and reset your PIN.
Q: Is there a monthly fee for using Netteller?
A: There is no charge for the Netteller, although there will be a charge for the Bill Pay product. In addition, your Internet Service Provider may charge a fee for our internet access.
Q: Is the information on Netteller timely and accurate?
A: Yes. All information and transactions conducted during normal business hours are handled on real-time.
Q: How far can I review my account history?
A: 92 days.
Q: What if I forget to log off the Internet?
A: After 10 minutes of inactivity, Netteller will automatically log you off.
Q: How do I change my PIN?
A: To change your PIN please follow the instructions below:
- Log in to Netteller with your current ID and PIN
- Choose "Management" from the Netteller drop down box and click "Go"
- Choose "Change PIN"
- Enter your current PIN in the first space provided, your new PIN in the second space provided and verify your change by entering your new PIN in the third space provided, then click "Submit New PIN"
- You will then be told that your new PIN has been activated.
